The Two Ugly Sisters
Anastasia still remembered the day when Cinderella arrived. It was burned into her mind; the memory caused her physical pain. Anastasia and her sister Drizella had never been completely confident in how they looked- Drizella thought her face was too round and Anastasia believed her hair was too red. Her personality, meek and mild, could never quite meet the expectations set by her flaming red hair. But when Cinderella arrived, it only worsened.
(The grand oak doors open to reveal two figures, obscured by the sun's bright rays. They step forward, clasping their shaking hands together. Their faces are revealed: one weathe
A little snippet from a novel I’m writing about a young transgender girl called Casey, full name Cassandra. (About 16, wants to be a boy; father abusive/transphobic/racist/homophobic). This is from near the end of the book.
Love melts over your heart like the sunset over the sea; pain melts over your heart like ice before the icicle that is grief comes along and pierces you right through it. Our souls have aged prematurely. I’d like to say that it touches my heart that these people who had never met my mother are grieving for her, but honestly right now my heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest and is being wave
Gay
What does that word mean?
Is it an insult?
Something to be ashamed of, something to hide away from?
Something to deny?
No.
It is love, pure and true.
It is love, it is real.
It is love, uncontrollable and beautiful.
It is love, beaten and bruised but always there.
It is love, for everyone and anyone.
No matter what.
It can hurt you, make you cry.
It can ruin your life, turn it upside down.
But it can make your life whole and new, happy and joyful.
It is not bad or wrong.
It is love.
You can’t deny it.
You can’t hide it.
Because we will fight for our rights.
The rights of the LGBT community.
We love.

Don't want to make this like Facebook because that would be rough, but I'm getting my hair cut really short in June and I honestly can't wait! I've always been more into that kind of androgynous look and I'm so excited
And thanks for liking my work enough to keep watching I'm glad someone does... After all what is art without spectators?
And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it. Roald Dahl
